The UFTA 2012 Nationals were once again hosted by Doublehead Resort in Town Creek, Alabama.  This was the 10th year anniversary for the UFTA Nationals and it was bigger and better than ever.  Our dogs competed in every pointing class including Open, Amateur, Doubles Pointing, Seniors and Women's.  Rambo finished 1st place in his field in the Amateur semi-finals out of 58 dogs and proceeded to the Amateur finals.  In the doubles pointing division, Rambo & his partner Sandy from Mohr-Ohi German Shorthairs placed 2nd in the semi-finals, which qualified them for the doubles finals.  In the doubles finals, Rambo & Sandy finished in the top 10.  Briley, who was handled by Charlie Erb in the Seniors division, placed in the top 3 in the seniors semi-finals and finished 4th in the finals out of 55 total dogs.  Briley also claimed the National Champion title in the Womens Pointing division, handled by Lauren Tarquinio, while Rambo was the reserve champion finishing 2nd.
