As well as he has done in field trialing, Buddy’s BEST quality is his wild bird hunting. His drive and bird finding abilities are second to none. He has been across the country several times in pursuit of Quail, Grouse,Wood cock ,Pheasants, Sharp-tails, and Prairie Chickens. Buddy is always the dog to put down in a new cover, if there are birds around rest assured he will point them out.

Briley began showing her talent in field trials at 8 months old in the UFTA Amateur class. By the time she was 2 years old, she had multiple amateur champion titles under her belt. She continues to succeed in the open and doubles class, as well as on wild birds. In addition to hunting Pennsylvania grouse, Briley has hunted in the western part of the US every fall since she has been a year old on pheasants, sharptail, prairie chickens, and grouse.
Briley has also showed her success at National Championships where she has competed in the UFTA finals for several years in a row.
In 2012, Briley was the high point dog of the year runner up and was also inducted in the UFTA Hall of Fame as she earned her 5th Open Championship. She not only has an exceptional nose and ability to hunt the field, but she also is so incredibly intelligent and she has figured out how to play the game and find birds. Briley currently is a 13x UFTA Champion, which includes 8x OPEN, 5x Amateur, and 3x Doubles.
Briley also demonstrates her agility in Dock Diving events. We entered Briley in her first event in June 2012, and she won top local dog with the furthest jump of 18' 8". By 2014, she won longest jump at Misty Pines with a distance of 25' 4".
This will be Briley's 2nd litter whelped. We are doing a repeat breeding from 2013 after seeing the pups that were produced.
